Holly joined Hersh FamilyLaw Practice in 2013 and is a Certified Family Law Specialist with the California State Board of Legal Specialization. She began her legal career as a civil litigator with an established San Francisco litigation firm in 2005. She gained considerable discovery and courtroom experience while representing clients in high-stake, multi-party lawsuits. Holly transitioned her practice to family law in 2009 and continues to practice exclusively in the area of family law. She assists clients with complex property division, child and spousal support, and child custody and visitation matters in dissolution, parentage, and post-judgment matters. Holly tailors her approach to the unique needs of each particular case, serving as consulting counsel for clients seeking to resolve their family law matter without litigation and serving as litigation counsel when matters require.

Holly obtained her law degree cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2005, receiving the American Jurisprudence Award in both Alternative Dispute Resolution and Employment Discrimination. As a law student, Holly served as a full time extern law clerk for the Honorable Carlos T. Bea on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and worked as an investigator for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the San Francisco Public Defender. Prior to law school, Holly obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Holly is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. Northern District courts. She is a member of the San Francisco Bar Association and an active member of the Queen’s Bench Bar Association where she is also a member of the Board of Directors and served as President in 2018.
