Shaliya Nath-Higley joined Hersh FamilyLaw Practice, P.C. in August 2023. Previously, Shaliya practiced family law and personal injury at two boutique law firms in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Shaliya has been licensed to practice law in California since 2021 and has practiced exclusively family law since then throughout the Bay Area. Shaliya has broad experience in divorce and family law, including child custody, child support, spousal support, asset division, business valuation, move-aways, restraining orders and modification of orders. She works hard to understand client goals and priorities and works with each client as a team.

Shaliya received her Juris Doctor degree from Whittier College of Law, where she received certificates for Trial and Appellate Practice and Criminal Law. She was also a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Board. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of the Pacific with a major in political science and minor in pre-law.
